Vittorio Bonapace is an Italian artist who masterfully blends tradition and innovation, creating a unique and evocative artistic language that spans from digital art to physical canvases.
After studying stage and production design at the Academy of fine arts in Rome, he honed his talent as a set designer at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome. There, he developed a deep understanding of lighting and spatial composition, which are central elements in his works.
With a strong passion for visual and digital art, Vittorio Bonapace stands out as a phygital artist, working across diverse mediums that explore different creative dimensions. He combines his solid artistic foundation with the innovative possibilities of technology.
Bonapace’s works have received international acclaim, establishing him as one of the most appreciated artists in the contemporary scene. His creations have been exhibited at prestigious events and venues worldwide, including Art Basel in Miami, Sotheby’s in Paris, and Frieze in Seoul. Since 2021, his artworks have consistently sold out on SuperRare, the leading digital art curation platform.
Among his most significant exhibitions is the one held at the Saatchi Gallery in London in 2023, the first entirely dedicated to digital art, showcasing his innovative talent. That same year, Bonapace participated in two exhibitions in Seoul, further consolidating his presence on the international art scene. He also contributed to a pioneering phygital art exhibition at the Dynamic Art Museum in Milan.
In 2024, Bonapace’s works were featured at the entrance of Dolce&Gabbana’s “Dal Cuore alle Mani” exhibition at the Palazzo Reale in Milan. This traveling exhibition will visit various international capitals over the next five years, with its next stop in 2025 at the iconic Grand Palais in Paris, shortly after its grand reopening following years of restoration.
