RESTORATION LABORATORY

In 2014 the restoration laboratory of the Art Gallery Zanini Arte celebrated its existance since 1914, with more than one hundred years of daily work on antique masterpieces. It is the oldest craft shop in San Benedetto Po, “Tra i Borghi più Belli d’Italia” (among the most beautiful villages in Italy) and voted “Comune Gioiello d’Italia, 2012″ (City Jewel of Italy, 2012).

The Zanini family started the business of craft in 1914 with its grandfather, Antonio, a carpenter and cabinet-maker. The business continued through Antonio’s sons, Arturo and Emete, and his grandchildren, Alfredo and Davide, who specialize in the restoration of works of art.
